Senior Leadership Team

Tim Cracknell is our founding Pastor. He has lived all

his life in the area and was taught at primary school

by the Forest legend Dick Bryce. Hence his love

and appreciation for the Forest of Dean. He worked

for 25 years in dairy farming on a family farm whilst

at the same time he developed an itinerary preaching

and Bible teaching ministry as well as being heavily

involved in his local Church, Glebe Chapel in Newent,

Gloucestershire. In March 2005 he and his wife,

Katrina, were commissioned by the leadership of

Glebe Chapel to plant a new Church in Cinderford using
the old Church building in Station Street as their base.
They are supported by C.P.I. and Counties and enjoy the
friendship and fellowship of their sending Church as well
as many other mission minded Churches throughout the UK.

Duncan Murray is our Community Pastor having taken up this role in August 2014. He was formally a Quality Engineer Manager with a multi-national Japanese automotive parts manufacturer, this  was a troubleshooting role which took him all over Europe and Turkey. Duncan has been with the church since just prior to its launch and was appointed to the Senior Leadership Team at the beginning of 2011. Duncan has a real heart for people and social justice and can often be found helping and supporting families within the local community. Supporting couples who are struggling is something he is passionate about using his own experiences to help and encourage others.

Duncan is convinced that the Church works best when it’s of the community not just in the community. Duncan’s focus is to help the church become an essential community hub within the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

Duncan is the Team Leader for the Evangelism team which now incorporates the new Neighbourhood Chaplains scheme. He has also undertaken a role as Staff Chaplain during Thursday Lunch time at the Forest High School. His other role is as  Assistant Pastor within the church supporting the Senior Pastor. Duncan is married to Linda who is the children’s and Youth work Team Leader. They have two daughters Rachel and Bethany and two grandchildren.
